Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using InvoiceBee ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of InvoiceBee.
2. Description of Service
InvoiceBee is a free, web-based invoice generator that allows you to create, preview, and download professional invoices as PDF documents. The Service requires no account creation and stores all data in your browser's local storage. The core features are provided free of charge. Premium invoice templates may be available for purchase.
3. Permitted Use
You may use InvoiceBee to:
- Create invoices for legitimate business or personal use
- Download and share the invoices you generate
- Use the Service as part of your normal business workflow
4. Prohibited Use
You may not use InvoiceBee to:
- Create fraudulent, forged, or misleading invoices
- Generate invoices for illegal goods, services, or transactions
- Systematically scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the Service using bots or scripts
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without written permission
5. Intellectual Property
Our content: The InvoiceBee application, including its design, code, invoice templates, branding, and all other elements of the Service, are owned by InvoiceBee and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute these materials without our express written consent.
Your content: The invoice content you create — including company names, addresses, line items, and financial figures — belongs to you. You retain full ownership of all content you input into the Service. We claim no rights over your invoice data.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. InvoiceBee does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that invoices generated by the Service will meet specific legal or accounting requirements in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InvoiceBee and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero).
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of InvoiceBee is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of InvoiceBee after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to InvoiceBee at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Because the Service stores no data on our servers, termination has no effect on invoice data already saved to your browser.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if negotiation fails.
