Privacy Policy

Overview

InvoiceBee is a free, browser-based invoice generator. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit your invoice data. Everything you enter stays in your browser.

Data We Collect

InvoiceBee stores your invoice data exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We do not have accounts, databases, or server-side storage for invoice content.

The data stored locally includes: sender and client details, line items, invoice numbers, currency preferences, and template selections. This data persists between sessions so you can continue where you left off. You can clear it at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Cookies

InvoiceBee uses only essential functional storage (browser localStorage). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we have nothing to consent to beyond what is strictly necessary for the service to function.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate InvoiceBee:

• Vercel — Hosts the InvoiceBee application. Vercel may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). These logs are used for infrastructure security and performance monitoring. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Sentry — Error monitoring. If the application encounters an unexpected error, Sentry captures diagnostic information (error message, browser type, OS, page URL) to help us fix bugs. Sentry does not capture your invoice data or personal information. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Because we do not store your data on our servers, there is no server-side retention period. Your data lives in your browser's localStorageuntil you clear it. Clearing your browser data or using the "Reset Invoice" button removes all locally stored invoice information permanently.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Given our architecture, exercising most of these rights is entirely in your hands:

• Right of access & portability: Your data is already on your device — open browser DevTools → Application → localStorage to view it.
• Right to erasure: Clear your browser's localStorage or use the "Reset Invoice" button. Instantly erases all stored invoice data.
• Right to rectification: Edit your invoice data directly in the form at any time.

Children's Privacy

InvoiceBee is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of InvoiceBee after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
